Drake demanded two DNA tests for his son before proudly showing him off to the world

Drake has revealed he had two DNA tests done before he stunned the world on Monday by sharing the first pictures of his adorable son Adonis.

The rapper - who initially kept his two-year-old child's birth a secret - shared a string of photos to Instagram showing off his blue-eyed, blonde curly-haired boy for the first time.

Drake, 33, went viral after rapping on the 2018 track ‘March 14’: "I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid."

During an interview with Rap Radar which was released in December last year, Drake said he had to get DNA tests for him to be sure he was his child.

“To be honest with you, I did a DNA test for my son and it came back to us and it said the DNA test got ruined in transit and they couldn’t be 100 percent sure that that was my son or not,” he said.

“So, I was in a really weird pending situation where I didn’t want to go tell the world that that was my son and it wasn’t.”

Drake alluded to his son’s pale skin, blue eyes and blond hair and laughed: “If you see my son you understand why.”

“He’s a stunning child you know, with the brightest blue eyes and at the time I was like ‘I don’t know’.

“It actually wasn’t until a week before the album came out that I got confirmation that that was definitely my son.”

The rapper then revealed: “It took me two more solid [DNA] tests with two different companies.”

Eminem reveals his greatest achievement is raising his children

One of the world’s greatest rappers, and record producer, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known Eminem, has revealed that raising up kids has been his greatest accomplishment.

The 15 time Grammy Award winner, gushed over his daughter Hailie Mathers, 24, during Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin podcast and said raising her and two of his nieces was his greatest accomplishment.

Hailie is Eminem’s only biological daughter and in 2018, she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology.

Eminem, 47 who at the early stage of his career said he will be overprotective of his daughter, seemingly now approves of her boyfriend, Evan McClintock, who she regularly posts on her Instagram page.

Eminem speaking with the boxer, Mike Tyson on his Hotboxin podcast, said; “No babies, she has a boyfriend, but she’s doing good.

“She’s made me proud for sure. She’s graduated from college.”

“I have a niece that I have helped raise too that’s pretty much like a daughter to me, and she is 26,” the Oscar winner added during his interview with Tyson.

“And I have a younger one that’s 17 now.

“So when I think about my accomplishments, that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of is being able to raise kids.”

“It’s important to keep your kids grounded when they’re in a situation like I have, it’s very important.”

He explained that he struggled during his childhood and that money doesn’t buy happiness.

“As a kid never felt like I was good enough, no matter what I did. It’s a psychological thing for anyone who feels worthless in this world.

“Anybody that feels that and then finds something they’re actually good at, that’s what makes somebody go for that so hard.”

Adding: “People also think too that money just buys happiness, [but] that absolutely is not the truth. You’ve got to be right inside otherwise none of this s–t means nothing.”

Villagers watched in awe as Pitso was car was towed to his grave in the family grave yard. As the mourners joined the funeral procession, Pitso’s car was towed and he was dressed in a cream white suit and seated behind the steering wheel with both his hands placed on the steering wheel.

Holomisa could not attend Pitso’s funeral as he had to test for Coved-19 as he was one of the people who were in contact with ACDP leader Kenneth Meshoe.

A source close to Amadou confirmed the former premier and parliamentary speaker “is definitely concerned by the presidential pardon and in theory will be leaving prison (today).”

Amadou has several months left to serve of a controversial one-year jail term.
The 70-year-old, dubbed “The Phoenix” for his political comebacks, ran against Issoufou in presidential elections in March 2016, but his campaign was marred from the start.

He was arrested on November 14, 2015, on his return from exile and was later accused that he and others, including one of his wives, smuggled babies into Nigeria via Benin for wealthy couples in Niger.

He denied the charges as a fix and was forced to campaign for the presidency from behind bars.

He was released on medical grounds on March 16, 2016, four days before the second round of the voting, and flew to France.

Issoufou went on to win with 92 percent of the run-off ballot. With the opposition boycotting the election, Amadou only picked up seven percent of the vote.

After a one-day trial in March 2017, Amadou was given a 12-month term in absentia.

In November last year, he returned to Niger to serve the remaining eight months of his sentence. He went to France for two weeks in February this year for medical reasons.

His party, Moden, named him its candidate for presidential elections due in December this year, although he may be legally excluded from running because of his conviction.

Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world, has recorded 22 cases of coronavirus, three of them fatal, since March 19.

Japan is accused of coronavirus cover-up

Japan has been accused of covering up coronavirus cases to protect the Olympics, after a spike in Tokyo's infection count following the postponement of the Games.

The Japanese government insisted for weeks that Tokyo 2020 would go ahead as planned, but finally gave in last week and postponed the Games until 2021.

Since then, Tokyo's daily infection count has risen from 16 to 63.

Former Japanese prime minister Yukio Hatoyama is among those voicing the suspicion that Tokyo's numbers are rising because Japan now has no reason to hide them.

'In order to make an impression that the city was taking control of the coronavirus, Tokyo avoided making strict requests and made the number of patients look smaller,' the former PM alleged.

'The coronavirus has spread while they waited. [For Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike] it was Olympics first, not Tokyo's residents.

Current PM Shinzo Abe agreed to postpone the Games in a phone call with International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach last Tuesday.

A day later, governor Koike asked Tokyo residents to stay home at weekends until mid-April, saying cases had shot up to 41 in a day from 16 earlier in the week.

On Saturday, Tokyo reported 63 new cases, another single-day record.

The governor said that infections in Tokyo were on the brink of an explosive increase, and that stronger measures, including a lockdown, could be needed if the spread of the virus doesn't slow.

“The suspects will be prosecuted immediately on the completion of investigation in accordance with the relevant extant laws of the land.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP U.M Muri enjoins the general public to be law abiding, observe the safety tips and continue to comply with the curfew and the Social Distancing Orders aimed at enhancing Public Safety and Public health in our dear State.

Oyo APC tells Makinde LOCK DOWN the state now

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has called on Governor Seyi Makinde to declare a total lockdown of the state for about 14 days to prevent a rapid spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement by its Director of Publicity Dr Azeez Adeduntan on Monday, the party said that the rising number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state calls for a total lockdown to contain further spread.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan Prof. Jesse Otegbayo and two other professors at the hospital tested positive to the virus on Sunday.

The APC emphasized that treating the pandemic with kid-glove will only worsen the situation and put the lives of millions of residents of the state at great risk.

It pointed out that while states that were yet to have confirmed cases have taken serious measures to prevent Coronavirus spread to their domains, Makinde, whose state already had confirmed cases, was still foot-dragging on totally locking down the state.

The APC specifically recalled that Makinde announced to crowds at the Southwest Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) unification rally held in Ibadan, the state capital on March 18 that the virus could not spread to Oyo State though infected people were already in the state. It added that the rapid spread of the virus may not be unconnected with the said rally.

APC said: “It should be recollected that at the PDP needless and shameless rally of Wednesday of 18th March 2020 at Mapo Hill, Ibadan, His Excellency, Gov Seyi Makinde boldly told about 5,000 attendees that corona virus  cannot get to Oyo State.

“However, it was not only confirmed that an infected COVID-19 person had been living in Ibadan since March 3rd but In fact the latest information from National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) claimed that COVID-19 infected patients has risen to seven as at Saturday 28th March 2020 in Oyo State.

So who is fooling who between Gov Seyi Makinde and APC that felt the timing of the Wednesday 18th March rally was ill-timed?

Most alarming is the arrogant manner of negligence with which Gov Seyi Makinde had been handling this COVID-19 war, considering that our past appeal has been falling on the deaf ears of Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.”

The governor just tested positive to the virus.

The APC justified its call for lockdown by stressing that it will make contact tracing easier and enable government fumigate public places.

It cited Osun and Kwara and states that have locked down as a serious effort at containing the virus.
