I regret marrying many wives: Jide Kosoko Cries Out
The veteran actor made the revelation in a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune. When asked if he regrets being a polygamist, he said: "Let me say this today for the first time, I never planned to be a polygamist. I found myself in that situation and I had to adjust to the system.
I don’t pray that my enemy should practice polygamy. And, this should be a lesson to the young ones coming. I know some people will say their religion permits it, but the religion did not enforce it. I have serious business to do now. I have young children to take care of."
On coping with life without his late wife, Henrietta: When you say how I have been coping, honestly I don’t know how to answer that question. I don’t know if I should tell you I have been fine or otherwise. I can only say God has been my rock till this moment. The truth is that I am yet to come to terms with the reality that she is no more. I don’t want to believe that she is gone. So many things have been coming up since she passed away and I know things will continue like that for some time.
On her family insisting that she should be buried in Delta State against the arrangement he had made for her to be buried in Lagos State: That was the misconception that people had about the burial. Since the day she died, her family had wanted her to be buried in Delta. There were no issues about that at all. I was only trying to bargain for her to be buried in Lagos.
On his relationship with her parents: Since the beginning of our relationship, her father did not hesitate to let me know that they had customs and tradition that must be strictly adhered to. The man told me that I am giving you my daughter but I am not releasing the rope. So when she died, I only proposed that she should be buried in Lagos but I am a man of culture and I respect tradition very well. So, there was no fuss about where she would be buried because we already knew where we were going.
On insinuation peddled in some quarters that losing his three wives was not natural: Segun, why are you asking me this question? I hope you don’t want us to discontinue this interview? I don’t want to start discussing all that. I don’t know what you expect me to tell you. Henrietta lived with me for over 20 years. I never expected or prayed that she would die. It saddens my heart when I hear people saying all sorts of things about her death. We all come to this world at one point in time and our exit will happen one day whether we like it or not. God is the giver of life. He gives it and takes it when He likes. I wish I could stop Henrietta from dying. I believe she died at God’s appointed time for her. If it is my turn tomorrow, I will not exceed that day. It is in whose place to say that someone’s death is not natural? I leave them to their belief. I leave them to God.
I regret marrying many wives – Jide Kosoko
- Do you regret being a polygamist?
Let me tell you, I don’t pray that my enemy should practice polygamy. And, this should be a lesson to the young ones coming. I know some people will say their religion permits it, but the religion did not enforce it. I have serious business to do now. I have young children to take care of.
- It is more than 41 days since you lost your wife, Henrietta. It is on record that you have resumed work. How have you been coping with life without her?
When you say how I have been coping, honestly I don’t know how to answer that question.
- When she died, there were different reports about what led to her death. The most popular one was that she died of diabetes. Could you tell us what led to her death and your last moments with her?
You still won’t stop asking me questions about her. Everybody knows what led to her death. It is already in the public domain. She died of complications arising from diabetes.\
- Why did her family insist that she should be buried in Delta State against the arrangement you had made for her to be buried in Lagos State?
That was the misconception that people had about the burial. Since the day she died, her family had wanted her to be buried in Delta. There were no issues about that at all. I was only trying to bargain for her to be buried in Lagos.
- What kind of relationship did you have with her parents; did you receive their blessings before you decided to marry her?
Since the beginning of our relationship, her father did not hesitate to let me know that they had customs and tradition that must be strictly adhered to. The man told me that I am giving you my daughter but I am not releasing the rope. So when she died, I only proposed that she should be buried in Lagos but I am a man of culture and I respect tradition very well. So, there was no fuss about where she would be buried because we already knew where we were going.
- How are you coping with the insinuation peddled in some quarters that losing three wives was not natural?
Segun, why are you asking me this question?
Nollywood director that ‘burnt actor on set’ explains why he fooled the world (VIDEO)
72 hours after a video of actor Ani Iyoho burning in an alleged movie stunt gone wrong went viral, everyone is shocked to discover that the entire frenzy was the result of a perfectly planned, and well-executed publicity spin conceived by Nollywood director Stanlee Ohikhuare.
Explaining why he did it during a press conference, Stanlee says he believes the stunt would cause a remarkable change in the attitude and perception of fellow Nigerians and the world at large, towards
Nollywood’s potentials.
That he did it to create film awareness and industry patronage via media engagement; utilizing the ever evolving social media platform to gain reach and peculiar attention to an entire industry.
He also added that Government intervention is needed to ensure that there’s adequate funding to curb ugly occurrences like the one insinuated in the circulated video.
Press play to watch below and be amazed at how Nollywood director Stanlee Ohikhuare and his production team made that viral video that had Ani Iyoho burning without actually been burnt.
OMG!!! See What Asiwaju Tinubu Plans To Do At Milan For his Son Seyi’s Wedding
The life-path and home of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, APC national leader, would glitter like a barn full of treasure and a life well spent, if fortune can be harvested as gold and silver grapes and blessings.
The city of Milan, Italy, will once again open its bowels to the crème of Nigerian society in few days, 9th & 10th August. Milan will creak at the eaves for Nigerian politicians. Seyi Tinubu, Asiwau’s son, is getting married to Layal Holm, his Lebanese lover in the idyllic city.
Then they found each other and fit perfectly in place. Predictably, many people are eager to be part of the memorable celebration. Not a few have been jostling to lay their hands on a copy of the invite.
Seyi, a Law graduate who acquired his degree from the University of Buckingham, UK. He acquired his Masters in Corporate & Commercial Law at the same university where he came out on merit.
Layal on the other hand, is of Lebanese and Nigerian descent. She is said to be a brilliant consultant at foremost auditing firm, Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC). The 25-year-old is a graduate of Political Science and African Studies at the SOAS (School of Oriental Studies) University of London. She also has a Masters in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from the University of Surrey.
Sounds like they are fit for each other. Nice one!

Young boy Simon Petrus invents phone that calls without using SIM & Airtime (Photos)
A Grade 12 student in Namibia’s Ohagwena region has invented a sim-less phone that allows users to make free calls and even watch one TV channel.
Simon Petrus, a student at Abraham Iyambo Senior Secondary School, created the phone using spares from a phone and television set.
Complete with a light bulb, fan and charger socket, the phone functions off power supplied through a radiator and is able to make calls to anywhere through the use of radio frequencies. Waoh!
The invention, which is made up of a radio system, is attached to a box and also allows the user to view one TV channel on it. He is also able to watch NBC1 TV on his box.
No stranger to the world of creation, young Simon is reported to have won a gold medal at national level last year for his invention of a two-in-one machine that works as both a seed drier and cooler.
The shy young man has admitted to working on his invention for two years through money provided by his struggling parents.
He said he invented the phone with the hope it would be successful and be able to be carried further.
Just In : JAMB Withdraws All 2016 Admission Lists Sent to Universities
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has withdrawn the list of recommended candidates for admission earlier sent to universities and other tertiary institutions, it said in a statement on Sunday.
A statement by JAMB’s head of media, Fabian Benjamin, reads:
“This is to ensure that the University Senate perform its statutory responsibility of conducting the selection of candidates and refer it to JAMB for confirmation in line with the admission criteria of merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states as directed by the Hon Minister of Education at the policy committee meeting.
“The earlier list was sent to help fast track the process of admission so as to allow other tiers of institutions also conduct their admission.
“Candidates should not panic because this is part of the process of the 2016 admission exercise. JAMB regrets any inconvenience this decision would have caused the tertiary institutions
“The Board regrets any inconvenience it’s proactive step would have caused the tertiary institutions.”
MY STORY OF ADDICTION EPISODE72
Bidemi took her food and left for the dinning. I helped myself with the remaining two plates of food to the dinning table. Got some bottled water from the fridge. I am having headache now (why won’t I). I called out Ruka to come join us at the dinning table. She obliged. We ate quietly without anyone complementing the food; but who cares? I have my hands tight right now.
I continued eating my indomie; and my brain kept interpreting it as Agege bread. I ate away; monitoring Ruka and Bidemi. Hoping to catch one of them in the act of eye rolling. I’m now a compulsory polygamous man now. They both kept smiling at me and I took note of each moves that they make.
We continued like that until we all finished our food. Ruka broke the silence by saying “thank you for the meal”. Afterwards Bidemi complemented the food. Ruka packed the plates to the kitchen. Bidemi stood up to follow her.
Me: where do you think you are going?
Bidemi: where does it look like? To the kitchen of course… to help her with the dishes.
I said “Okay” while rubbing my palms against each other, begging her not to do anything stupid. She went to kitchen while I stayed in the parlour, silently praying for things not to escalate than it already has. I was about going to the kitchen when my phone rang, it’s from Adedoyin. I’m very happy that she called at the time both of them were not with me. Besides I needed to talk to someone to divert my thoughts from these two girls. I repositioned myself to a place that I would see anyone walking out of the kitchen. I picked.
Me: hello dear… I only got to read your message this morning. I have tried calling you but the network is just bad this morning. How are you doing my dear?
Adedoyin: I’m fine… and you?
Me: very much okay… I don’t know how to tell you this…. I would have loved to meet you at Rooftop hotel today but I already had plans. My Dad asked me to drive my sister to his uncle place to bring back some items he brought from UK for him. I don’t know the place: she does (lied)
Adedoyin: (voice low) it’s okay …. and you won’t be chanced during the weekend. I wish to see you before I leave. I’m going back on Monday. Or don’t you want to say goodbye to me?
Me: Monday.. I thought Sarah said Wednesday…
She managed to convince me seeing her tomorrow, unfailingly. She ended the call and I resumed back to reality of my wives. I walked silently to the kitchen, hoping to hear Ruka and Bidemi’s conversation but they were not talking to themselves. I tiptoed back to the living room and waited for them.
They later joined me in living room after 5minutes. I thanked them for doing the dishes for me. We started gisting. Ruka kept taking the shine. She’s Wikipedia. She knows all. Even when Bidemi talks about Ijebu oju ode festival. She explained the beginning of Ojude Oba and linked it to the Agemo festival where women are not allowed to see the Agemo masquerade.
I felt for Bidemi because she stood no chance against Ruka in general discussion. I suggested we play scrabble so as give to Bidemi an edge over Ruka, who seems excited when she heard the word “scrabble”. Scrabble is Bidemi’s best game but I don’t know how good Ruka is. I just pray that she doesn’t have a good game today.
I brought out the game. Ruka played first and she gave me my second shock of the day with what she spelt.
She spelt “HUSBAND”…. and she kept laughing and screaming at the top of her voice, shouting my husband… my husband…. while touching me on my knee. She uses all her tiles (Bingo), which is plus 50. I’m not even concerned about the scores but about Bidemi. I looked into her eyes and immediately looked away. I don’t want her to catch me staring at her.
I know that she was very happy when I said we should play scrabble but she wouldn’t have expected what she’s getting right now.
I counted it and I know that she had already won the game before starting. She scored 86point. I shook my head in disbelieve. I suggested that we start a new game but Bidemi insisted we finished it.
I felt sorry for Bidemi my friend.. my love as we played on.

See How Rich NFL Player & His Beautiful Wife Shot Dead by Their Own Teenage Son (Photos)
Even in the Bible, there were children that came into this world just to inflict sorrow and tears on the parents who gave birth to him. It is only prayer that can change such negative destiny, no matter how much you have and pamper such a child with. Tragically, there’s no way to bring them back to life.
Former NFL linebacker Antonio Armstrong and his beautiful wife, Dawn, have been shot and killed inside their home in Houston by their son.
According to Daily Mail, police were called to Armstrong’s home in Bellaire, Texas, about 2:15am on Friday. The wife Dawn was found dead at the scene, while Antonio, 42, who suffered gunshot wound to the head – was rushed to hospital where he later died.
The couple’s 16-year-old son has been charged with shooting his parents dead. The couple had two
other children, a 20-year-old son and a 12-year-old girl.
Houston police said they had yet to determine a motive.
‘It was kind of the All-American family, that’s why we’re trying to get down to figure out what’s going on in this household,’ homicide detective Jimmy Dodson said.
Investigators who searched the home found a smoking gun next to a note reading: ‘I’ve been watching you’, according to KTRK.
Armstrong was a college All-American with Texas A&M in 1994, before being drafted in the sixth-round by the San Francisco 49ers.
In 1995, he played four games for the Miami Dolphins, while also spending three seasons in the CFL with the British Columbia Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Former Texas A&M coach R.C. Slocum released a statement after learning of his ex-player’s death.
“Antonio was a special young man. He was an All-American and an outstanding player, but he was an even better person. He was such a positive influence on his teammates. He always had a great big smile and was a joy to coach,” Slocum said.

For most of you who have ever commented or sent a chat to me you know I do all I can to respond to them all. So it hurt me deeply to keep you in silence and in the dark during this period. I couldn’t avoid it. The calls were maddening. My phone had to be turned off till the matter was resolved in public where it started.
I am well. It was a movie fire scene that went well.

watchingyouclosely1I guess it was my fault honestly in trying to find a way to help. Which I didn’t until I saw the burnt pictures of ani. Check the hash tag of Ani’s name and see
watchingyouclosely1You claim it wasn’t a PR stunt? So who leaked the pictures? God? And who conveniently dropped a video on your instagram saying you were about to do a burning scene and “anything could go wrong” you didn’t flinch or blink or even say God forbid in the video
watchingyouclosely1Was I wrong to try to help after seeing those pictures. I tried calling the director dickson to reach u but it didn’t go through. Anyway its fine. I’ll learn to freeze my heart next time I see anything like this on the internet
watchingyouclosely1Fame is fleeting o Dear ani. In less than a week someone else will do something bigger and attention will move unto them. People will forget what you did, people will forget what you said but people will never forget how you made them feel. This will be my last comment on this. To the people blasting me on here: why not try to look at this situation from a neutral perspective. If ani was not your friend, not your brother or co worker. How would you feel about your emotions and intelligence being toyed with like this. All the best Ani.
ani_iyohoHahahahaha oh ye @watchingyouclosely1 Thanks for watching my rise. May you live long and see me shit on your head… just before you fall down and die. Your lies against me and God can not hold saliva. Watch my rise and your sudden destruction. #myGodguarantees that. Must Read : WHAT A MOTHER TOLD HER SON A DAY BEFORE HIS WEDDING
illustrative picture
Mummy’s boy, you are now a man. Tomorrow you will have
a new mother, a new cook and a new person to share all
your secrets with. It will no longer be me but her. Love your
new mum even more than you love me. Before you walk
into her arms forever, let me give you some words to guide
you.
There was a day I was arguing with your father. We were
screaming, Tempers were high. I was angry and He was
angry. Then I called him an idiot! He was shocked, He looked
at me asking how dare I call him that, Immediately started
calling him idiot, fool, stupid, crazy, I called him all sort of
name. Guess what he did? He didn’t raise his hands to hit
me. He just walked away, banging the door as he went out.
My Son, If your father had hit me and destroyed my eyes,
how will you feel sitting here with me today? How will you
regard him as your father? Would you have been proud of
him or would you be blaming me for calling him names?
Never hit your wife! No matter the provocation just walk
away and things will be normal. Whenever she offends you,
think of this story I just told you, it could have been your
mum!
Before I forget, after he left, I was filled with guilt. We slept
on same bed that night and I went to him the next day. I
pleaded with him, I did all I could to show am sorry and he
forgave me. That day I cooked his favourite food, yes you
know he loves Pounded yam & Vegetable soup right? After
that day, I never called him names, my respect for him was
ten times stronger.
There is something very important you must always do, my
son listen very carefully, defend your wife. When she is
under pressure, stand by her. If your friends hates her, it is
your duty to make them see her as a Queen. Your Uncle, I
mean Uncle Yusuf, never liked me. But Ur father was always
supportive until his perception changed.
There was a day your Father was going to host the owner of
his company and friends. They were three of them. That day
I was in the kitchen cooking for them and your father went
to buy drinks. When the table was set and food was served.
Everyone started eating. Then I remembered I did not add
salt in the food. I was embarrassed. Your father tasted the
food and looked at me. He immediately turned to the
guests. He told them that he instructed his wife last month
not to add salt whenever she is cooking because of some
problem with his body. He said it in a funny way and
everyone laughed! The guests understood and he asked me
to bring salt and everyone added according to their taste. He
managed to eat the food without salt. After the guest left, he
went on his knees and asked God to forgive him for lying.
Your wife is like a baby, sometimes she don’t know what to
say or do. Stand up and speak for her!
Now let me talk to you about Sex. You see Sex is a wonderful
thing. Do not be surprised if your wife enjoy and need Sex
more than you do. There were days, I needed Sex more than
your father and there were days he needed it more than me
but the important thing is to always try to satisfy the other
when they need you. Don’t always think of your self.
There was a time things were hard and I needed to do two
jobs to support your father. One night I was so tired. When I
got to bed he was in the mood. He try to make love to me
and I didn’t refuse him. I was tired but I felt I needed to be
there when he need me. When he tried undressing me, he
saw my look and he stopped. He asked what was wrong and
I said nothing. But he understand me better. He stopped and
then started telling me stories until I fell asleep.
My son, Sex is best enjoyed when the two parties are
physically and mentally ready for it. Sometimes, read your
wife and understand her.
Make it a habit to go anywhere with your wife. Beside your
job, move around with her. If anyone invite you to his house
and told you not to come with your wife then be very
careful. Use wisdom.
I know you love mummy… I know you tell me all your
problems. But now things will be different.
Let your wife be the first to know before me. Let her be the
first to see before me.
When you have problems with her don’t run to me
immediately. Wait for a day to pass and then talk to her
about it. Pray about it. Report her to nobody but talk issues
out within yourself.
Finally, don’t forget to come and visit me with your wife
every month!
I know you will have a happy home. You will always be
mummy’s boy. God will bless Ur home. Pls don’t forget God,
pray & seek His assistance always..
