The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, and the principal officers of the red chamber are currently holding a crucial meeting behind closed doors with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities led by its President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi.

The meeting would discuss the alternative designed by ASUU to the Integrated Personnel Payroll System by the Federal Government for the payment of civil servants’ salaries.
