Amanda McClure, 31, will spend 40 years in prison after brutally killing John McGuire, 38, from Minnesota, last year.
Her dad, Larry McClure Sr, 55, was sentenced to life in August after admitted to bludgeoning the man to death in February 2019.
The American woman from West Virginia dismembered his body after helping her parent kill the man so they could be together, a court has heard.
The father and daughter married last year at United Methodist Church - writing the name of another man on legal documentation.
Amanda appeared in McDowell County Circuit Court via video on Thursday.
To the charge of second-degree murder, she entered a guilty plea.
Her sister, Anna Marie Choudhary, 32, is also facing a charge of first-degree murder for her part in the attack, reported Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
Brazen Amanda said sorry to her mother Karen Smith in court.
She begged for mercy as she said: "I have to look at myself every day.
"My family didn’t raise me to be this way. I’ve not only hurt John’s family, I’ve hurt my own family. My dad didn’t want anyone else near me.
"John told Larry that he loved me and we were going to get married. I wish I could bring John back."
"He was a good man," she added in court.
Incredibly, her mother says time may lead to forgiveness after the family was destroyed.
"She and her sister and her daddy are going straight to hell," Karen said.
"'I can’t forgive her right now. Maybe later, but I can’t forgive her right now."
Presiding Judge Ed Kornish said: "After killing John, you dug him up later.
"When you all dug him up his body was dismembered and stakes of some kind were driven through his body.
"Then you reburied him - there was no reason for this."
