Mob Injure Driver For Killing Pupil In Ibadan
The accident, which attracted other pupils, resulted in a mob attack on the bus, popularly called Ajumose.
People vandalised the vehicle by smashing the windscreen and side mirror. The mob attacked the driver, a middle-aged man, who was injured.
The accident occurred near Lafia Hospital, Mokola, Ibadan. The unidentified driver was said to have also injured pupils.
An eyewitness, Isaac Ajibade, said the mob damaged the bus, adding that they apprehended the driver.
He said: “The traffic was light. Pupils were going home. Suddenly, the bus appeared and hit them, killing a secondary school girl. Passengers alighted, but the mob apprehended the driver. He was beaten up before the police rescued him.”
Command spokesman Adekunle Ajisebutu, who confirmed the accident, said the driver was recovering at Police Hospital, Eleyele, Ibadan.
He said: “The driver is in our custody. He has been taken to Police Hospital, Eleyele, Ibadan.
“The body of the pupil has been deposited at Alafia Hospital morgue. Investigation has begun.”

Sources close to Drake say the rapper's been cutting checks to insure Sophie Brussaux, the woman Pusha T claims Drake has a secret son with.

Roseanne Barr's TV Son Says Many Have Been Left Jobless Due To Sudden Cancellation Of Show
Fishman, who plays D.J. Conner on "Roseanne," tells TMZ, "I worry most for our crew and writers who passed on jobs this year to stay with us."
Recall ABC axed the show hours after Roseanne's racist tweet.
Mike's concerns are indeed valid. A production source who was working on "Roseanne" tells TMZ about 300 people are now unemployed after the cancellation. They are told most production gigs for the fall were filled in the last few weeks during network upfronts.
The source says a lot of the "Roseanne" crew including writers and others are hoping to land jobs during mid-season replacements this year to help pay for their life expenses.
One crew member has 2 kids in grad school, and says they couldn't afford the show getting tanked out of nowhere like it did.
A 2nd source tied directly to the show also say people might've overextended themselves financially considering the show's massive ratings, and might've had a false sense of job security.
It's unclear whether writers and crew will get paid for the scrapped upcoming season. Poor workers!

Kim Meets Trump, Talks Alice Johnson's Freedom
Kim and her attorney, Shawn Holley, entered through the security gate for the West Wing of 1600 Penn. The meeting with POTUS has been in the works for months as Kim has been in talks with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner to get Alice Marie Johnson's life sentence commuted.
Alice is the great-grandmother who was convicted for drug conspiracy and money laundering in 1997. They were her first offenses, and Kim's taken up her cause over the last year.
Her attire all black, besides yellow heels shows just how serious Kim is about her mission. And sources say the meeting went extremely well.
Shortly after leaving White House, Kim also issued a statement.
"I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense. We are optimistic about Ms. Johnson’s future and hopeful that she—and so many like her—will get a second chance at life."
