The Kogi State government is currently demolishing a property in Odu owned by the notorious crime Kingpin, Zakari Yau. Apart from the main gate, the building is said to have 11 pedestrian gates.

It
will be recalled that last month, Governor Bello, accompanied by heads
of security agencies led the demolition of criminal hideouts in Okene
LGA of the state. The property belonged to a suspected kidnap kingpin
popularly known as Alhaji Bakare in Oyunkoko Ward.

The second
building levelled to the ground was owned by the notorious Ahlul-Sunnalu
Mosque in Inike, also in Okene. The building was hijacked in 2015 by
members of the Boko Haram terrorist group and had been serving as an
operational base for their nefarious activities.
