The 26-year-old singer said her 29-year-old ex - and her other exes were not good people and she thought she had to be gay because she thought 'all guys were evil.'
She said: 'There are good people out there that just happen to have d**ks. I've only ever met one, and he's on this live,' she said, referring to 22-year-old Cody.
Miley was broadcasting a video conversation with her new boyfriend, who had just landed in Sydney.
'There are good men out there, guys, don't give up,' said the Wrecking Ball hitmaker.
'You don't have to be gay, there are good people with d**ks out there, you've just got to find them.
You've got to find a d**k that's not a d**k, you know.
The pop singer debuted her romance with Cody on October 4, just two months after announcing her separation from Liam in August.
The couple took part in a split-screen Instagram Live session, with Miley at her Los Angeles home and Cody at a hotel in Sydney, where he has flown out for work.
The lovebirds appeared to confirm rumours they are now living together, after publicly discussing their shared driveway and garage.
