Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, is set to be named the next United Nations Deputy Secretary General. She is to serve under the new Secretary General, Antonio Guterres who will assume office on January 1st 2017. This is according to CBS’s UN reporter, Pamela Falk.
Mohammed was appointed Minister of Environment by Pres Buhari in Nov. 2015. Congrats to her.
