The 31-year-old boxer and I'm A Celebrity star posed happily with 50 Cent in the image in which he pointed out the cameras flash had given the illusion of 'white stuff on my nose' before writing 'what the f**k'.
He swiftly penned the hashtag 'Camera flash' however it seemed the star thought better of the sentence as he deleted the image entirely before reposting the shot and adding the new caption: 'Good to see @50cent in #LosAngeles #calilife'.
Amir has been living it up in Los Angeles where he looks to have been partying up a storm, during which he met the iconic rapper in a club.
Seemingly proud of meeting the star, he also shared the shot on Twitter with the caption: 'With this guy @50cent #LosAngeles'.
After reposting the image, fans swiftly noted the blur on his nose as users wrote: 'So everyones just going to ignore that his nose is just a blur?!... lmaoo wth!! whats he done to his nose #heneedsthestrap'.
Others insisted the star had been using photo editing software to tweak the shape of his nose in the shot, with a fan writing: 'What with your nose khan lol editing pics'.
Just days before posting his bizarre Instagram caption, Amir, who returned to the ring in April after taking two years off from the gruelling sport, revealed that during a run-up to one of his boxing matches, he is put on a sex ban for six to seven weeks.
The professional boxer, 31, appeared on Piers Morgan's spin-off show Good Evening Britain, where the television presenter grilled Amir about his family life with wife Faryal Makhdoom, 26, and their two daughters - Lamaisah, four, and Alayna, two months, and the lead up to one of his boxing matches.
The former I'm A Celebrity contestant revealed that before a big sporting event, he doesn't allow his family near him for up to seven weeks.
He said: 'It’s about keeping your family away and staying focused. Sometimes it’s a good thing to keep your family away. It comes to a stage where you are tunnel vision. Sometimes having your kids around or family around can take you away from that.'
Although with a break from his family, it means Amir also has a sex ban from wife Faryal for six to seven weeks.
Asked about whether he bans bedroom action before a boxing match, he added: 'Yes. A long time. Six or seven weeks!'
Yet his co-guest, Pamela Anderson, 50, was shocked over the 'sex ban' and revealed that it doesn't apply to her and her French footballer beau, Adil Rami, 32, who is currently playing for France in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
