The First Lady of Abia State, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu has rescued two-month old baby Favour Obinna Ndidi from what might have led to her untimely death.

Favour was born with a head tumor and needed urgent surgery before the attention of the first lady was called to it.

She intervened and paid for her surgery and the abnormal mass attached to the back of her head, medically known as encephalocele was removed.

The First Lady runs a foundation, and it will not be the first time she would help out with a life saving surgery.
