Kunle Somorin, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, announced this in a statement on Friday.
He explained that the decision was to enable secondary school students across the state to take part in the ongoing National Examination Council (NECO) examinations.
Somorin stressed that the decision was arrived at after reviewing the challenges that the restriction of movement would have on the examination scheduled for Saturday.
According to him, this coincides with the timing of the monthly sanitation exercise.
“It has become expedient that the interest of the students be considered.
