According to The Kenyans, a majority of the pupils were reported to be preparing to sit for their KCPE exam this week. The students were caught by concerned residents in the act and were reported to the police.
Ben Otieno, a retired teacher who knew some of the children, claimed that he noticed them dancing naked and engaging in sexual acts.
Otieno reported that after monitoring the minors, he noticed that they were also taking alcohol and decided to alert the police. The students were arrested and taken to the Homa Bay Police Station in Kenya.
Ochorokodi added the minors would be charged in court as soon as investigations are complete.
“We have arrested them as children who need parental care because they failed to produce identity cards. We are taking them to court soon,” the OCPD stated.
The manager at the club where the group patronised was also placed in police custody.
“We are going to take legal action against the club and its manager will be arraigned in court,” the police boss revealed. Angry residents have complained that the club should be closed for exposing children to alcohol and s*x.
“Children are people who need direction hence I blame the club management for allowing them in. I am appealing to the relevant authority to revoke the club license,” decried a resident identified as Regan Ochieng.
