Bride-to-be shares photo of her engagement ring but people shamed her for her nails instead

A bride-to-be who shared a photo of her huge engagement ring online left people stunned - but not for the right reasons.

The woman, who has not been identified, proudly posted the snap of her whopper of a diamond as it glistened on her finger.

And while it was intended to show off the rock in all its glory, she has been trolled over the state of her manicure, with one cruel social media user saying: "It looks like the nail is running away!"

The woman's grown out pink and gold tipped acrylics have come under scrutiny after being shared in several shaming Facebook groups.

Writing in one, a member said: "Cross posting [this] from That's It, I'm Nail Shaming, because that ring is as awful as whatever the hell is happening with her nails."

“I couldn’t even focus on the ring after seeing the nails,” another added.

A third said: “I’m not normally speechless when I look at these kinda photos but damn … I’m 100% speechless."
