– The Ogun state government is having a hard time battling Lassa fever
– The state is experiencing some panic, even as a victim has died and and remains quarantined
Authorities have announced that one person has died from complications related to Lassa fever.
The victim whose name remains withheld, was said to have completed a 21-day incubation period today, February 14.
Meanwhile, a second victim has been identified.

The victim who is now at the incubation centre of Ogun State University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH), is said to be 2-months pregnant.
More investigations and test are been carried out, as the government is yet to make an official statement.
