Afro Juju creator, Sir Shina Peters has declared that he can never be too old for the genre of music he originated. This was at the Love Rendezvous, hosted by Lagos Airport Hotel in celebration of this year’s valentine season.
While responding to questions from the audience and popular Nollywood actor who was also the MC of the night Yomi Fash-Lanso, Shina Peters, who was very energetic throughout the night said his age can never stop him from the way he played the music several years ago.

“My age has nothing to do with the way I dance, it is in me, I can never stop doing it. I may be getting old by age but I am still young at heart. Afro Juju is what I initiated; it comprises high tempo music with rigorous dancing step and that is the way I will continue to dance it my age notwithstanding” he said.
Meanwhile, the ecstasy crowd which was mostly made up of couples were very elated by the nostalgic experience the music brought. The veteran musician didn’t cease to render some of the crowd’s favourite songs from the albums he released in the 1990s as they continued to ask for more.
It was indeed a night to remember as other musicians who include This Year crooner Jaywon and popular female act Onos.

Other event in the Love Rendezvous was a comedy dinner with Gbenga Adeyinka which was another spectacular experience.
Apart from the fact that the event was packaged by the hotel to reinforce its overall brand promise of providing its clients with hospitality with grand attention; it also stood out to promote celebration of love in a very exclusively mature and exquisite atmosphere.
